Oceanaire is still bringing in the crowds..and I can understand why after a recent phenomenal dinner. From the Calamari and Crab Cakes to the colossal Oysters and succulent Scallops, our meal kicked off in an amazing way. Executive Sous Chef Jeff Lhotsky continued to prepare delicious course after course and Nate Beachler, GM, paired the courses perfectly with select wines. I loved the Goat Cheese & Fresh Beet Salad. Fresh Rockfish, Halibut, King Crab & Tuna were complemented by sides of Chipotle Cheddar Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Corn and had us all in foodie heaven. Yes, Oceanaire serves Steak and had my friends proclaiming it one of the best they had all year at any restaurant. Wow. (Note: SAVE ROOM!) Just when we thought we could eat no more, out come Root Beer Floats with shots of Root Beer Schnapps on the side. And yes, they were as good as they sound. By the way, the staff is excellent & professional, ready to offer suggestions or assist you in pairing wines with your meal. Oceanaire offers a Prix Fixe 3 course $29.95 menu nightly.
